Integra a VdA desde 1989. Sócio Responsável pela área de Bancário & Financeiro, assumindo a responsabilidade global pelos clientes e transações do escritório no sector financeiro. Presta regularmente assessoria jurídica em operações bancárias e de mercado de capitais e em matérias regulatórias, bem como em operações de financiamento sindicado, incluindo a emissão e colocação (nacional e e internacional) de instrumentos de dívida, híbridos e de capital, warrants, produtos financeiros derivados e sintéticos. Trabalha também ativamente em operações de securitização e outros tipos de operações asset-backed, bem como na preparação de operações de financiamento estruturado, matérias sobre as quais é orador regular em conferências, seminários e professor convidado em cursos de mestrado e pós-graduação organizados por institutos e universidades distintos.
O Pedro esteve destacado numa instituição financeira internacional a operar em Portugal durante 5 anos, tendo sido responsável pelo departamento jurídico interno da mesma.
