Paula Gomes Freire
Integra a VdA desde 1996. Managing Partner da VdA, preside à Comissão Executiva e é membro do Conselho de Administração
Enquanto sócia da área de Bancário & Financeiro, tem trabalhado em diversas operações, nomeadamente nos mercados doméstico e internacional, em diversas operações ligadas à emissão e colocação de instrumentos representativos de dívida, nomeadamente programas EMTN, papel comercial, acções preferenciais e ofertas públicas.
Tem ainda trabalhado activamente em operações envolvendo produtos financeiros estruturados, incluindo titularização de créditos (securitizações).
Nos últimos anos, Paula Gomes Freire tem estado envolvida no acompanhamento da recapitalização do setor bancário Português, nomeadamente através da aplicação pioneira de medidas de resolução ao abrigo da Diretiva de Resolução e Reestruturação Bancária.
Autora de vários artigos e publicações da especialidade da sua prática jurídica, Paula publicou ainda o livro “Sustainable success, the future of technology, leadership and culture”, através do qual partilha insights sobre os principais desafios do futuro com impacto na sustentabilidade das organizações, uma reflexão realizada com o contributo de um painel de prestigiados académicos e reconhecidos especialistas de vários setores.

Licenciatura em Direito pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Lisboa.
Pós-graduação em Direito Comercial pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Londres.
Antes de integrar a firma trabalhou como associada no escritório McKenna&Co, em Londres e Azevedo Neves, Benjamim Mendes & Pereira de Miranda & Associados, em Lisboa.
