Paula Gomes Freire
Paula Gomes Freire a rejoint VdA en 1996. Managing Partner de VdA, préside le comité exécutif.
En tant qu’associée de la pratique Banque & Finance, elle a travaillé sur plusieurs opérations, notamment sur les marchés nationaux et internationaux, liées à l’émission et au placement d’instruments de dette, à savoir de programmes EMTN, des billets de trésorerie, des actions préférentielles et des offres publiques.
Elle a également participé activement à des opérations portant sur des pro-duits financiers structurés, en particulier des titrisations.
Ces dernières années, Paula a participé à la recapitalisation du secteur ban-caire portugais, notamment par la mise en œuvre pionnière de mesures de résolution en vertu de la directive sur la résolution et la restructuration des banques.
Auteur de plusieurs articles et publications dans le cadre de sa pratique juridique spécialisée, Paula a également publié le livre "Sustainable success, the future of technology, leadership and culture", à travers lequel elle partage des idées sur les principaux défis à venir qui ont un impact sur la durabilité des organisations, une réflexion menée avec la contribution d'un panel d'universitaires prestigieux et de spécialistes renommés de différents secteurs.

Licence en Droit de la Faculté de Droit de l’Université de Lisbonne.
Diplôme universitaire en droit commercial de la Faculté de Droit de l’Université de Londres.
Avant de rejoindre le cabinet, elle a été avocate collaboratrice au sein des cabinets McKenna&Co, à Londres, et Azevedo Neves, Benjamin Mendes & Pereira de Miranda & Associados, à Lisbonne.
