Teresa Pitôrra

Integra a VdA desde 2002. É Senior Counsel das áreas de Contencioso & Arbitragem e de  Reestruturações & Insolvência.

Durante o seu percurso na VdA, tem participado ativamente em vários processos de Reestruturação e Insolvência ("R&I") de grande visibilidade nos mais diversos setores, com especial enfoque nos de bancário, fundos e serviços financeiros, indústria e serviços, bem como telecomunicações, abrangendo Portugal e outras diversas jurisdições de língua portuguesa Angola, Cabo Verde ou Brasil.

Com um profundo conhecimento em matérias de insolvência e reestruturação, Teresa tem representado e prestado assessoria a clientes nacionais e internacionais no âmbito de processos de insolvência e de reestruturação, tanto na vertente judicial, como extrajudicial, e como credor ou devedor.

Teresa acumula ainda uma significativa experiência em matérias de direito civil e comercial, tanto na fase pré-judicial como na fase judicial, e tem também participado na assessoria a clientes em operações que envolvam produtos financeiros estruturados, incluindo titularização de créditos (securitizações).

Licenciatura em Direito pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Internacional.

Antes de integrar a VdA, Teresa trabalhou como associada no escritório Pena, Machete & Associados, posteriormente integrado na PMBGR - Sociedade de Advogados.

Participa regularmente como oradora em seminários e conferências, nacionais e internacionais, na área de R&I.

Autora e co-autora de vários artigos , nomeadamente:
  • “PORTUGAL: An Introduction to Restructuring/Insolvency”, co-autora, Chambers & Partners Europe 2019.
