Teresa Pitôrra

Teresa Pitôrra a rejoint VdA en 2002. Elle est Senior Counsel des pratiques Contentieux & Arbitrage et Restructurations & Insolvabilité.

Au cours de son parcours chez VdA, Teresa a participé activement à plusieurs procédures de restructuration et d'insolvabilité (« R&I ») de grande visibilité dans les secteurs les plus variés, notamment de la banque, des fonds et des services financiers, de l'industrie et des services, ainsi que des télécommunications, couvrant le Portugal et d'autres juridictions lusophones telles que l'Angola, le Cabo Verde ou le Brésil.

Grâce à sa connaissance approfondie des questions d'insolvabilité et de restructuration, elle a représenté et conseillé des clients nationaux et internationaux dans des procédures d'insolvabilité et de restructuration, tant judiciaires qu'extrajudiciaires, et en tant que créancier ou débiteur.

Teresa a également une expérience significative en matière de droit civil et commercial, tant dans la phase préjudiciaire que judiciaire, et a également conseillé des clients sur des transactions impliquant des produits financiers structurés, y compris la titrisation.

Licence en Droit de la Faculté de Droit de l’Université Internationale.

Avant de rejoindre le cabinet elle a travaillé comme collaboratrice au cabinet Pena, Machete & Associados,  intégré par la suite à PMBGR - Sociedade de Advogados.

Elle participe régulièrement en tant qu'oratrice à des séminaires et conférences, tant nationaux qu'internationaux, dans le domaine de la R&I.

Auteur et co-auteur de plusieurs articles, parmi lesquels :

  • “PORTUGAL: An Introduction to Restructuring/Insolvency”, co-auteur, Chambers & Partners Europe 2019.
