VdA has received four nominations at the Benchmark Litigation Europe Awards 2026, including three individual nominations and a nomination for National Law Firm of the Year.
In the individual categories, Nuno Ruiz is shortlisted for Litigator of the Year (Portugal), while Carla Gonçalves Borges is shortlisted for Western Europe Woman Litigator of the Year, as the only Portuguese lawyer nominated in this category.
Teresa Pitôrra is shortlisted for Litigator of the Year – Restructuring & Insolvency, and is the only Portuguese nominee in this category, which features a total of 59 shortlisted professionals.
VdA is also shortlisted for National Law Firm of the Year, an award that recognises the law firms that have distinguished themselves through the impact and quality of their work in the field of dispute resolution.
Organised by the international publication Benchmark Litigation, the Benchmark Litigation Europe Awards annually recognise law firms and practitioners for their work in dispute resolution across Europe.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony, which will take place on 24 September 2026 at the Waldorf Hilton in London.
