João Vieira de Almeida, Assunção Cristas and Margarida Couto are participating in the ESG Forum: Accelerating The Sustainability Journey Globally, a sharing event on the state of the art in ESG from a broad perspective.
The ESG Forum will also be attended by Helena Viñes Fiestas, Commissioner of the Spanish Financial Markets Authority and President of the EU Platform on Sustainable Finance, who will give a presentation on the "Sustainable Finance Platform".
In addition, Lídia Pereira, Member of the European Parliament and Vice-President of the European People's Party, is also a guest speaker at the session "Sustainability: perspectives on the current and future European legislative cycle".
The ESG Forum programme is divided into two parts:
- The first part, during the morning, will be dedicated to a general reflection on the topic, including on the extensive and relevant European legislative output, the path that is foreseen for the next European Commission, how companies are adapting to the new context, the challenges and opportunities they are facing;
- The second part will be a hands-on exercise accompanied by lunch, around ten themed round tables, in which the main challenges that the current ESG context raises will be debated and analysed in depth.
