Ricardo Bordalo Junqueiro rejoined VdA in 2018. Head of Practice Partner of the Competition & EU practice, Ricardo has been involved in various operations, particularly in the electronic communications, energy, pharmaceutical, financial, media and infrastructure sectors, as well as accompanying economic regulation matters in the electronic communications sector.

Between 2002 and 2013 joined Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA) as Lawyer at the Competition & EU practice, where he has worked actively in several transactions, particularly in the electronic communications, pharmaceuticals, infrastructures and postal sectors.

In 2005 and 2006 he was the Lawyer in charge of VdA Brussels office.

Author of several works in Competition Law, with emphasis on the book “Abusos de Posição Dominante”, Almedina, 2012.

Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.

Member of the Circle of Portuguese Competition Lawyers (CAPDE).

Member of Portuguese Association for the Development of Communications.
