VdA will be taking part in COP31, in Antalya, Türkiye, bringing together representatives from international organisations, the public and private sectors for a discussion on one of the most pressing challenges in climate action: turning commitments into concrete results.

On 12 November, VdA will host the session “WE HAVE THE DEAL. NOW WHAT? – From Climate Commitments to Climate Action” at the UNFCCC Pavilion.

The discussion will explore the key challenges to implementation, from institutional capacity and governance to legal frameworks, finance and international cooperation, highlighting the importance of collaboration in accelerating climate action.

The session will also spotlight the “Presiding Officers’ Guide to the UNFCCC Process”, a practical resource designed to strengthen participation in international climate negotiations. Its Portuguese version was developed with the support of VdA, as part of its collaboration with the UNFCCC.
