Sofia Ribeiro Branco

Head partner of the Investigations & White Collar practice, Sofia joined VdA in 1999 and is recognised as a leading lawyer with extensive experience in litigation, whose practice focuses on corporate, criminal and administrative litigation cases.

She designs compliance programmes and conducts internal investigations of companies, also representing clients in private enforcement proceedings, founded on civil liability requests for breach of regulatory and sectoral rules.

Masters degree in Corporate Law, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law (dissertation on shareholders’ right to information).

Post-graduation in misdemeanour/administrative offenses applicable by Regulatory Authorities, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.
