Catarina Pinto Correia

Catarina Pinto Correia joined VdA in 1996. Partner of the Public Law practice, she is regularly involved in advising several matters of Administrative law (general and specific), including public procurement, pre-contractual litigation, administrative concessions and Public-Private Partnerships, and public regulation.

She has participated in several transactions, mainly focused on the energy, postal, transport (including rail) and road and rail infra-structures sectors and  advises clients on projects supported by EU funds. 

She leads VdA’s agribusiness team in Portugal and across VdA Legal Partners’ jurisdictions, including francophone and lusophone Africa.

In 2011, Catarina won the Iberian Lawyer award “40 Under Forty”, which distinguished the top young lawyers in the Iberian Peninsula.

Master in European Community Law, College of Europe, Bruges.

Post-graduate in EC Competition Law, Kings College, London.

Post-graduate in Public Procurement and Concessions, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.
