Hugo Moredo Santos, José Pedro Fazenda Martins, Pedro Cassiano Santos, Paulo Olavo Cunha and Ana Perestrelo de Oliveira are lecturing on the 11th Postgraduate Course in Corporate Finance, promoted by the Private Law Research Centre (CIDP) of the Lisbon Faculty of Law.
 
The aim of this course is to provide a legal overview of the financial reality of companies, with a focus on the different forms of financing and corporate operations, covering topics such as equity, hybrid instruments and corporate restructuring. 
 
Ana Perestrelo de Oliveira, who is also a member of the course's Scientific Committee, teaches classes on ‘Concepts and Trends in Corporate Finance’, ‘Typical Clauses in Investment Contracts’ and ‘Financing Groups of Companies’. José Pedro Fazenda Martins leads a class focussed on ‘Bank financing and market financing: alternatives available to large companies and SMEs’. Hugo Moredo Santos presents the topic of ‘Derivative financial instruments’, while Paulo Olavo Cunha addresses ‘Privileged shares: in particular, non-voting preference shares and shares with plural voting rights’. Finally, Pedro Cassiano Santos addresses the topic of ‘Structured finance and securitisation’.
