Ana Perestrelo de Oliveira joined VdA in 2024. Of Counsel of the Corporate and M&A practice.
Ana has a degree in Law and a doctorate in Law from the University of Lisbon. She is a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Lisbon Faculty of Law, where she has lectured on the subjects of Commercial Law, Company Law, Securities Law, General Theory of Civil Law, and Contract Law, at both undergraduate and master’s level. She is President of the School Council and member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. She is also Vice-President and researcher at the Centro de Investigação de Direito Privado (Research Centre for Private Law), where she coordinates several postgraduate and intensive courses, including the postgraduate courses in Corporate Governance and Corporate Finance.
Guest Professor at the Faculty of Law of Católica University, lecturing in the master’s programme on Business Law.
Member of the Editorial Board of the Revista de Direito das Sociedades (Company Law Journal) and of the Revista de Direito Financeiro e dos Mercados de Capitais (Financial and Capital Markets Law Journal), member of the Executive Committee of the annotated Código das Sociedades Comerciais (Commercial Companies Code), and former member of the Coordinating Committee of Revista Concorrência & Regulação (Competition & Regulation Journal).
