Sara Santos Dias

Sara Santos Dias joined VdA in 2021. She is a Senior Associate in the Banking & Finance practice, where she has been actively involved in several transactions relating to the issue and placement of debt and equity instruments, traditional lending, and securitisations.

She also has vast experience in advising clients on banking and capital markets regulatory matters, particularly those related to the derivatives market, including as a trader of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA).

Law degree, Católica Lisbon School of Law.

Before joining VdA, Sara worked at Cardigos law firm, as an associate in its Banking & Finance department. She also worked as foreign attorney on secondment in the Capital Markets department of Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler law firm, based in New York.

Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.
