Joana Neves joined VdA in 2007. Managing Associate at the Litigation & Arbitration practice area, her practice focuses on commercial and investment arbitration (national and international) as well as civil and commercial litigation, covering not only Portugal but also different jurisdictions in Portuguese-speaking countries where VdA Legal Partners network operates, notably Angola and Cabo Verde.
Joana has been representing clients across a variety of sectors, including telecommunications, banking and financial services, insurance, energy, oil & gas and infrastructures.
Joana lectures in courses and speaks in seminars and conferences on matters related to arbitration and civil procedure. She has been acting as Coach for the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.
