António Pestana Araújo

António Pestana Araújo joined VdA in 2018. He is an Associate at the Litigation & Arbitration area of practice where he has focused his practice on civil, commercial and corporate litigation as well as domestic and international arbitration.

He was previously a trainee at the Banking & Finance area of practice where he was involved in several transactions across the banking and financial sectors, namely in Portugal and abroad, focused in the creation and structuring of asset portfolio financing and other asset-backed transactions, credit securitisations and in the placement and issue of debt instruments.

Law degree at the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.

Attended a post-graduation course in Commercial Litigation, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.

LLM in Corporate Law at the University of Edinburgh.

Before joining the firm, he worked at Galp as a summer trainee.

Author of various chapters and articles namely:
