Catarina Carvalho Cunha joined VdA in 2015. Managing Associate of the Litigation & Arbitration practice. She has been involved on civil and commercial litigation; international and national commercial arbitration; insolvency and restructuring.
She has been actively involved in sponsoring clients in several commercial and civil judicial suits in Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Cape Verde and East Timor.
She has also focused her practice on international arbitration and insolvency and restructuring.
She has advised several clients in sectors such as oil & gas, shipping, aviation, hotel management and telecommunications, amongst others.
Law degree with the Catholic University of Lisbon Faculty of Law.
Before joining the firm she worked at Miranda as both an Associate and Senior Associate where she widened her practice in litigation in the jurisdictions of Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, East Timor and Equatorial Guinea.
Before that she worked at AAA-Advogados and PLMJ as an Associate attorney.
