On June 19, VdA, APGEI and Porto Business School are organising the session "Corporate Litigation: Challenges and Different Perspectives", with the participation of Carla Gonçalves Borges, João Velez de Lima, Paulo Olavo Cunha, Matilde Líbano Monteiro and Miguel Lourenço e Silva.

This session aims to promote a practical and pragmatic reflection on corporate litigation within the legal and business communities. To this end, the event brings together various speakers with experience in corporate litigation, from the different perspectives of the decision-maker/member of the management body, the in-house lawyer, the external lawyer and the legal expert, culminating in a keynote speach.

João Velez de Lima, Partner in the Tax area, participates in the welcoming session, along with Luís Garrido Marques (Vice-Dean of Porto Business School) and José António Sarsfield Cabral (Chairman of the APGEI Board of Directors).

Carla Gonçalves Borges, a Litigation & Arbitration partner, will then be responsible for the introductory session, which will be followed by a round table on "Corporate Litigation: problems and impacts on society".

Participating in this round table are Matilde Líbano Monteiro, Litigation & Arbitration Managing Associate, together with Luís Silva (Director of Mota-Engil Capital), Gustavo Rochette (Legal and Compliance Director of Movhera), Pedro Maia (Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra) and Miguel Lourenço e Silva, Senior Associate in the Litigation & Arbitration area, as moderator.
