Paulo Olavo Cunha is a member of the Scientific Committee of the colloquium “Católica and Four Decades of the Portuguese Companies Code”, an initiative organised by the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa to mark the 40th anniversary of the approval of this cornerstone of Portuguese company law and the 20th anniversary of its most significant reform, introduced in 2006.

Following a first session in Porto on 26 October, the colloquium continues in Lisbon on 2 November, bringing together leading experts and academics to reflect on the evolution of the Portuguese Companies Code over the past four decades and to discuss the future challenges and outlook for company law in Portugal.

In addition to serving on the Scientific Committee, Paulo Olavo Cunha will participate as a speaker in a session alongside Ana Perestrelo de Oliveira and will also moderate several panels, contributing to the academic and legal debate surrounding one of the most important pieces of legislation in the Portuguese corporate legal framework.
