The Portuguese Institute of Corporate Governance (IPCG) will host the conference “Competitiveness, Innovation and Regulation in Europe” on 27 October at the CCB Congress Centre in Lisbon. The event will bring together business leaders, board members and experts to discuss the challenges that regulation, innovation and artificial intelligence present to European organisations.
As a partner of the IPCG, VdA will be represented by Miguel Ventura, who will take part in the panel discussion “Innovation, Technology and Artificial Intelligence: The Role of Boards”. The debate will explore the strategic implications of technological innovation and artificial intelligence for corporate governance, as well as the role of boards in fostering competitiveness and creating value in a rapidly evolving business environment.
The conference will provide a platform to reflect on some of the most pressing issues facing businesses and Europe today, including the relationship between regulation and competitiveness, board readiness in an increasingly demanding international landscape, and the impact of technological innovation on decision-making and organisational development.
