Chen Chen

Chen Chen joined VdA in 2019. He is an Associate in the Banking & Finance practice, where he provides legal advice on regulatory matters and legal support for the financing of credit institutions and financial intermediaries operating in the capital markets, including in the setting up of both domestic and international debt and equity issuances and placements, and the issuance of warrants and other financial products.

He also provides ongoing support to various asset management companies on regulatory and legal issues, such as the constitution of collective investment schemes and ongoing support to their respective management entities, as well as in connection with the purchase and sale of assets under their management or the disposal of their shareholdings.

Furthermore, he advises insurers and insurance intermediaries on regulatory issues and matters related to pension funds and pension fund management companies.

Law degree, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.

Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, since 2020, where he lectures on General Theory of Civil Law.

Lecturer on several postgraduate courses organised by the Lisbon Centre for Research in Private Law– CIDP.

Researcher at the Lisbon Centre for Research in Private Law– CIDP.

Member of the Executive Committee of the Journal of Financial and Capital Markets Law – RDFMC.
