Brasilian companies are considering Portuguese privatizations

Brasilian law firm Pinheiro Neto Advogados' managing partner Alexandre Bertoldi, and Vieira de Almeida & Associados (VdA)'s managing partner João Vieira de Almeida gave a joint interview to Diário Económico newspaper for its 11th July edition in which they approach their tem year old partnership as well as new business perspectives arising from EDP, TAP and Galp's envisaged privatizations. The partner from "one of the largest law firms in all of South America" assures Brasil regards Portugal "with great affinity". On the other hand, João Vieira de Almeida tells the newspaper that "we'd rather have Brasilian investment that any other". The partnership between the two firms has been involved in two of the largest transactions that took place in the last year.
