On the 9th of February 2010, VdA held an information morning in its auditorium, specially hosted by its Pro Bono Committee and run in conjunction with the institution ‘Entrajuda'. This session, with around 80 attendees, looked at the main issues in the area of Privacy and Personal Data and was specifically aimed at IPSS (private social support organisations).
The Information Morning looked at the main personal data protection and privacy issues relating to the activities carried out by those institutions that receive support from Entrajuda.
The themes that were addressed included the requirements and formalities involved in collecting and processing data, including sensitive data, as well as good practices for protecting such personal data.
