João Afonso Fialho and Luísa Moreira contributed to the 2026 edition of the Mining Guide, an international publication produced by Cescon Barrieu and dedicated to the latest trends, legal frameworks and investment opportunities in the global mining sector.
The VdA team was responsible for the chapters covering Angola, Mozambique and Timor-Leste, providing an in-depth analysis of the legal and regulatory regimes governing mining activities in these jurisdictions. Their contributions address topics such as access to mining titles, environmental licensing, project financing, strategic minerals, investment mechanisms and recent regulatory developments.
