Joana Mascarenhas participates in the debate on ‘The impact of AI systems on the access to legislation’, as part of the launch event for LIA - Legislation with Artificial Intelligence, a tool based on Artificial Intelligence that helps to clarify any doubts about national legislation.
The launch ceremony, which will take place on Tuesday 11 February at the Imprensa Nacional da Casa da Moeda, will be attended by Manuel Cabugueira, from Nova IMS, Manuel Dias, from Microsoft Portugal, Joana Mascarenhas, representing VdA, in a debate moderated by journalist Alexandre Évora. The closing session will be led by the Secretary of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Paulo Lopes Marcelo.
LIA is a virtual assistant, developed to answer questions on a variety of national legislation topics. The aim of this tool is to simplify access to legal literacy, simplifying national legislation and making the law closer to the citizen.
