LegalClub, a VdA initiative, held a conference on 20 October dedicated to the Lobbying Law and the new transparency rules governing interactions between private entities and the public sector.

Paulo Pinheiro opened the session, which also featured contributions from Rodrigo Esteves de Oliveira and Sofia Ribeiro Branco.

The programme also included a roundtable moderated by Graça Carvalho, Legal Director and Company Secretary at CTT, with Marta Afonso, Legal Director, General Counsel and Company Secretary at REN, and Virgínia Silva, Deputy Legal Director at the State Legal Centre (CEJURE).

The event provided an opportunity to share different perspectives on the challenges the new rules pose for organisations and the transparency obligations associated with interactions with the public sector.
