Ricardo Bordalo Junqueiro participated as a moderator in the III Congress on Competition in Portugal, organised by the Competition Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce.
The event, held on 27 November, covered topics such as expectations for the new European Commission in competition policy, the relationship between the labour market and competition law, the role of the state in the market economy, and the impact of competition on the health sector. Additionally, ways to promote resilience and competitiveness in the international context were analysed, along with key trends in Competition Law for 2024 and the outlook for the future.
Ricardo Bordalo Junqueiro moderated the panel entitled ‘Public and private enforcement in Portugal’. This session analysed the recent performance of public and private enforcement, the achievements and areas for improvement in public enforcement and analysed the main developments in case law.
