Assunção Cristas and Catarina Pinto Correia are taking part in Climate Week NY and Sustainable Development Impact Meetings, which are taking place in New York (23 to 27 September), in parallel to the United Nations General Assembly.

Climate Week NYC is the largest annual climate event of its kind, bringing together more than 600 events and activities across New York City.

Every year, business leaders, politicians, civil society representatives of all ages and backgrounds from around the world come together to drive the transition, accelerate progress and promote the changes already underway.

Climate Week NYC is organised by Climate Group, an international non-profit organisation working to accelerate climate action by promoting collaboration between governments, businesses and other entities to reduce carbon emissions and promote the global transition to a low-carbon economy.

As a member of the World Economic Forum, VdA also participates in the Sustainable Development Impact Meetings, a series of carefully organised leadership dialogues focused on generating impact.
