VdA, in partnership with Porto Business School and the Portuguese Association of Industrial Management and Engineering (APGEI), is organising the Conference ‘Taxation in the Energy Sector: State of the Art & Challenges for the Energy Transition’, which will take place on November 27, between 9am and 1pm, at Porto Business School.
Taxation in the energy sector has become increasingly important, both due to the introduction of new taxes and/or the revision of tax rules, as well as the impact of recent court rulings. Recognising the strategic importance of this sector for the Portuguese economy, we propose an analysis of the current state of the art, promoting reflection on the main challenges and opportunities that will arise in the near future.
