Catarina Pinto Correia

Catarina Pinto Correia joined VdA in 1996. Co-head partner of the Environment & Climate Change practice. 

Catarina regularly advises on environmental and climate law matters, notably in the fields of waste management, water management, carbon projects and credits, sustainability, climate change, biodiversity, soil contamination, ecological claims, and eco-design, among others.

She has also worked actively on administrative law matters, particularly related to public procurement, administrative concessions, public-private partnerships, public regulation, and various international legislative processes.

Catarina leads VdA’s agribusiness team, assisting clients in projects supported by European and public funds.

In 2011, Catarina won the Iberian Lawyer award “40 Under Forty”, which distinguished the top young lawyers in the Iberian Peninsula.
