José Miguel Carracho took part in the 2026 edition of the Summer ELSA Law School Porto, dedicated to the theme ‘Law and Tech’.
On 21 July, he delivered a lecture on ‘Cryptocurrency and Blockchain’, in which he examined the legal and regulatory framework applicable to crypto-assets and the use of blockchain technology, as well as some of the key challenges arising from their growing adoption.
The Summer ELSA Law School Porto took place from 19 to 24 July, bringing together students and young legal professionals interested in the relationship between law, technology and innovation.
