Assunção Cristas participated as a speaker at the 9th Congress of the Portuguese Agri-Food Industry, on the panel ‘Empowering the food industry for growth and sustainability’.

Under the motto ‘Growth and Sustainability’, the Congress took place on 30 September and aimed to promote debate and reflection on the main strategic issues for creating value in the Portuguese agri-food sector, including food transformation, innovation, digital transition and sustainability.

During her participation, Assunção Cristas addressed the meaning of the ESG (environmental, social and governance) pillars and the influence of these practices on the performance of organisations.
