VdA and APGEI - Associação Portuguesa de Gestão e Engenharia Industrial (APGEI) [Portuguese Association of Industrial Management and Engineering] are very pleased to announce the Strategy 2030 Conference: From Financial Incentives to Tax Incentives, which will take place on 21 september, between 5.00 p.m. and 7.45 p.m., in the Fernando Pessoa Room, at the Ritz Four Seasons Hotel, in Lisbon.

We are extremely honoured to welcome H.E. the Secretary of State for Regional Development, Professor Isabel Ferreira, to open the Conference.

We are currently going through a unique period, with the approval of the largest package of economic support measures ever.

The European Recovery and Resilience Mechanism, which includes the RRP - Recovery and Resilience Plan agreed for Portugal, an instrument to mitigate the economic and social impact of the post-pandemic crisis, with an allocation of 16 billion euros, creates a series of incentives and financing measures and contains an investment plan with an implementation plan through to 2026, aimed at contributing to ensuring long-term sustainable growth and responding to the challenges of the dual climate and digital transition.

The new Community Framework Portugal 2030, sets the major strategic targets for the application, from 2021 to 2027, of the global amount of 23 billion euros.

The financial and fiscal incentive measures are numerous and cross-cutting. The opportunities multiply and the challenges in implementing them are enormous for all the stakeholders involved - beneficiaries, management entities, technical coordination and monitoring or audit and control.

We seek to promote reflection and debate, in a collaborative and constructive manner, on the opportunities and challenges that arise, interaction and cooperation between all the entities involved, thus contributing to communication and clarification, essential to the efficient implementation of the measures in question.
