VdA participated in EDEX 2018, represented by Ana Marta Castro, managing associate, in a mission of 15 portuguese companies that integrate the BTID and the state corporate sector.
Organized by the idD, in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence of Egypt and diplomatic represtantation of Portugal in Cairo, this national participation has as main objective the identification of new business opportunities for national firms, such as possible partnerships between both countries, in this sector.
This first edition of EDEX – Egypt Defence Expo 2018 – will gather the biggest world players of the sector and has more than 300 exhibitors confirmed, also counting on the participation of more than 10 thousand people.
Besides the Portugal pavilion, there will be several encounters with oficial, governmental and corporate entities, such as the Ministry of Defence of Egypt, the Federal Ministry of Defence and the AOI.
