The first phase of AI.Moot Court 2.0 is currently underway, with 13 teams submitting written pleadings and 'AI Evidence memorials'. The results of Phase 1 will be announced on 20 April, with the next phase focusing on online oral pleadings.
This competition, which simulates a trial using generative artificial intelligence, is an initiative by VdA Academia developed in collaboration with YouLearn Academy, and is aimed at students of Law, International Relations and Political Science.
AI.Moot Court enables participants to apply Public International Law in practice through the resolution of a case study, while developing key skills such as legal drafting, research, oral advocacy, argumentation and procedural strategy.
The competition offers a range of prizes, including €8,000 for the winning team, €1,000 for the runner-up, summer internships at VdA, and other workshops and experiences, such as a day at AWS – Amazon Web Services.
