"Lawyers deny tax regime"
João Afonso Fialho, Project - Infrastructure, Energy and Natural Resources practice partner, is heard by the Portuguese daily newspaper Diário Económico as chairman of the Association of Law Firms of Portugal on the applicable tax transparency regime for law firms.
The partner objects this regime: "we are obliged to anticipate taxes for the State on revenues which we do not know if we will receive. It is completely unacceptable."
