Assunção Cristas and Catarina Pinto Correia took part in the Global Agri Forum, an initiative for which VdA was both Host and Gold Sponsor, contributing to discussions on some of the key challenges shaping the present and future of the agrifood sector.

As part of the conference programme, Assunção Cristas joined the panel "Population Growth and Sustainability: Combined Challenges for Agrifood Production", which focused on the impact of population growth and the sustainability challenges facing agrifood production.

Catarina Pinto Correia, in turn, participated in the roundtable "Agribusiness from an Investor Perspective", where the main trends, opportunities and challenges shaping the sector were explored from an investor standpoint, against a backdrop of ongoing economic, technological and environmental transformation.

Under the theme "Building the Future of Agribusiness", the Global Agri Forum brought together business leaders, investors, agrifood industry stakeholders and institutional representatives to discuss sustainability, food security, innovation and investment. The event reinforced dialogue among the different actors across the agrifood value chain and highlighted the importance of international cooperation in driving the sector's development.
