Tiago Bessa and Iakovina Kindylidi contributed to the book ‘AI Act - The New European Artificial Intelligence Regulation’, published by Almedina.

Coordinated by André Alfar Rodrigues, João Almeida and João Luz Soares, the publication analyses the main aspects of the AI Act, including restrictions on certain Artificial Intelligence (AI) practices, risks in its implementation and the protection of fundamental rights, in an analysis that interconnects the regulation with different areas of law.

Tiago Bessa writes the article ‘The Intersections between the Digital Services Regulation and the Artificial Intelligence Regulation’, while Iakovina Kindylidi contributes with the article ‘The AI Regulation and the Insurance Sector: Challenges and Opportunities’.
