On 29th January, 2008 IIR, the Institute for International Research, hosted a conference on Energy Law, in which Nuno Ruiz, Manuel Protásio, Vanda Cascão, Rodrigo Esteves de Oliveira, Catarina Pinto Correia, Frederico Quintela and Matilde Horta e Costa all took part as guest speakers.

The conference covered not only the day-to-day aspects of the energy sector (electricity & natural gas), but also various aspects regarding competition law and public contracts matters directly linked to the sector.
