João Afonso Fialho is part of the panel of speakers at the 2nd edition of the "Doing Business Angola" event, promoted by Forbes Lusophone Africa and Jornal Económico.
In a panel dedicated to "Outlook: economic perspectives Angola 2024", João Afonso Fialho discusses the main challenges that lie ahead in this context, together with Francisco Alegre Duarte, Ambassador of Portugal to Angola, António Martins da Cruz, Consultant and Former Ambassador, and João Traça, President of the Portugal-Angola Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The event, which will take place on 18 June, aims to discuss the importance of Angola as a gateway to the markets of the Southern African Development Community (SADC). In addition, the impact of new infrastructures, such as the new Luanda airport, the Lobito corridor and the various deep-water ports, on boosting the Angolan economy will be addressed. The event will also explore the economic outlook and opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sectors in Angola.
