Helena Correia Mendonça led a session on 'National and European Regulation of Space Activities' as part of the webinar 'Space Law – Regulation and Challenges of Outer Space', organised by ELSA Coimbra (The European Law Students’ Association) and Pollux Space Technologies.
The webinar, held on 7 and 8 April, aimed to promote an interdisciplinary reflection on the regulation of outer space and the emerging legal challenges in this field. Throughout the sessions, topics such as international liability, commercial space activities, space debris management and cybersecurity in space were addressed.
The initiative promoted a dialogue between law, science and technology, highlighting the importance of innovative legal solutions in response to the increasing complexity of space activities.
