Joana Bernardo led a session on the ‘Legal framework of the lobbying law’ as part of the executive course ‘The New Lobbying Law in Portugal: Implications for Governance, Compliance and Reputation’, organised by the Portuguese Association of Insurers (APS).

During the session, the VdA Partner addressed the legal framework governing the legitimate representation of interests, clarifying the categories of representatives and the activities covered. She also discussed the main obligations and responsibilities involved, as well as guidelines and best practices in relation to third-party engagement and the recording of institutional interactions.
