Catarina Pinto Correia participated as keynote speaker and moderator in the seminar entitled "Valuing ecosystem services in territorial planning", which took place on 28 June in Coruche.

Catarina Pinto Correia's presentation was entitled "The operating regime of the voluntary carbon market", followed by a round table moderated by the VdA lawyer. This round table was attended by Rui Pombo, from the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF), Sofia Ferreira from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Tiago Domingos, from the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Bárbara Costa Pinto, from BPI, António Gonçalves Ferreira from the Association of Forest Producers in the Municipality of Coruche and Neighbouring Areas (APFC) and Hélder Rodrigues from the Energy Agency (ADENE).

The event was also attended by the Mayor of Coruche, Francisco Silvestre de Oliveira, the President of the APFC, Rita Bonacho and the Secretary of State for Forests, Rui Ladeira. In addition, the seminar featured two presentations on "Herdade do Freixo do Meio", by Ana Fonseca, and "The APFC SE+ Ecosystem Services Providers Project", by Marta Souto Barreiros.
