Inês Antas de Barros participated in an event commemorating the 50th anniversary of 25 April, organised by the Workers' Committee of the National Communications Authority (ANACOM).
The event, which took place on 1 July, focused on "The Workers' Commissions of the independent administrative bodies in defence of workers and the modernisation and efficiency of the state".
Inês Antas de Barros was invited to present the topic: "The importance of privacy and the protection of personal data in the labour context".
The event's programme included other panels dedicated to presenting information on labour issues, covering topics such as safeguarding workers' rights and guarantees in administrative courts, the four-day working week pilot project and the cooperative relationship between trade unions and workers' committees.
Other renowned figures spoke at the event, such as the president of the Workers' Committee of ANACOM, Carlos Costa, the Executive Secretary of the General Workers' Union (UGT), Carlos Alves, among many others.
