Inês Antas de Barros joined VdA in 2007. Partner of the Information, Communication & Technology practice area.

She focuses her practice on privacy and data protection, having been invloved on: compliance audits of the databases of companies from a wide range of sectors (pharmaceutical industry, health, insurance, telecommunications and banking); definition of compliance strategies; creation of corporate and website privacy policies; implementation of whistleblowing procedures; definition and implementation of data breach procedures; definition of governance and data sharing strategies, as well as big data & analytics; assisting on the adoption of new products and services based on new technologies (Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and other emerging technologies); providing legal advice on national and international transactions involving the transfer of personal data and organising training sessions and seminars.
