Inês Antas de Barros was invited to participate in the International Reinsurance Meeting, as part of the panel ‘Artificial Intelligence and Digital’.

In her presentation, Inês Antas de Barros addressed the challenges and opportunities of Artificial Intelligence applied to the insurance sector.

The theme of the 19th edition of the International Reinsurance Meeting was ‘The Growing (Un)Protection of Society - Responses from the Insurance Sector’, with the aim of addressing the role that the insurance sector can play in an ever-changing world. The first day of the event, held on 23 May, was dedicated to analysing the impact of ageing and mental health, as well as Artificial Intelligence and digital issues. The second day, on 24 May, discussed the challenge and risks arising from climate change.
