Elle a été avocate sénior au cabinet d’avocats Allen & Overy LLP (Londres), intégrant le groupe de Projets, de septembre 1999 à novembre 2008. Elle a participé à différentes opérations bancaires et de financement de projets, au Portugal et dans d’autres juridictions, en particulier dans les secteurs des infrastructures, des transports et de l’énergie.
Elle a rejoint Vieira de Almeida & Associados, RL, de décembre 2008 à juillet 2011. À ce titre, elle a travaillé activement et dirigé le financement de plusieurs projets dans les secteurs des infrastructures et de l'énergie.
Elle a occupé le poste de conseillère au sein du bureau du secrétaire d'État à l'infrastructure, aux transports et aux communications d'août 2011 à avril 2014.
Inscrite au Barreau portugais, à la Law Society of England and Wales, en tant que solicitor, et au Barreau brésilien.
