Teresa has led countless banking and project financing operations, in Portugal as in other jurisdictions, within the infrastructure, transport and energy sectors, notably in lusophone African countries.
Was as a deputy at the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Transports and Communications, from August 2011 to April 2014.

Teresa Empis Falcão was a senior associate at Allen & Overy LLP (London), as a member of the Projects Group, from September 1999 to November 2008. She participated in various banking and project finance transactions, in Portugal and abroad, mainly focused on the infrastructure and energy sectors.
Worked as a managing associate at Vieira de Almeida & Associados, RL, from December 2008 to July 2011. In that capacity, was actively involved in or led the financing of several projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Was as a deputy at the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Transports and Communications, from August 2011 to April 2014.
Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association, to the Law Society of England and Wales, as solicitor, and to the Brazilian Bar Association.
