Nuno Carrolo dos Santos

Nuno Carrolo dos Santos joined VdA in 2015. He is a Managing Associate of the Competition & EU practice area where he has worked in several cases and transactions, particularly in the pharmaceutical and media sectors, with a focus on restrictive practices and merger control.

Law degree, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.

Post-graduation in Corporate Law, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law.

Summer Course in EC Law, University of London, King's College London.

Post-graduation in EC Competition Law, University of London, King's College London.

Master of Arts in EU Competition Law, University of London, King's College London.

Before joining the firm Nuno worked at Abreu Advogados as Of Counsel and as Associate (2009-2015).

Previously, Nuno worked as Legal Advisor at the Legal Department of Caixa Geral de Depósitos (2007-2008).

From 2002 to 2007 Nuno practiced law first as a trainee and subsequently as an Associate at F. Castelo Branco & Associados, having been seconded to Hewlett-Packard Portugal for 6 months (2004).
