Cláudia Coutinho da Costa joined VdA in 2011. She is a Managing Associate integrated in the Competition & EU practice area,
where she has worked actively in various operations in various sectors, including the energy, civil aviation, retail and insurance sectors.

Before joining the firm worked as an associate at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados (2005-2010). She has also worked as advisor to the Minister of Culture of the XVIII Constitutional Government (2011), and made an internship in European General Court, with Judge Maria Eugénia Martins Ribeiro (2008).
Author of articles in journals of the specialty, namely with regular contributions to the ECLR – European Competition Law Review.
Admitted to the Portuguese Bar Association.
Member of the Portuguese Association of European Law (APDE).
